Practice profile

A Chișinău practice for practical compliance work.

Oleg Vladov is the name of the practice and the person responsible for the work. The office is at Decebal Blvd 19, MD-2068, Chișinău, Republica Moldova. Clients write to [email protected].

The practice exists for organizations that need compliance support without pretending the support is something else. Many teams already know the topics that worry them: customer or employee information, conduct rules, suppliers, records, or a questionnaire from a partner. What they lack is a structure that matches the size of the team and a set of pages people will actually open.

The work is documentation, review, and coordination. It is proportioned to the organization. A twelve-person company should not receive a manual written for a bank. A company preparing for a customer review should not receive a slogan. The output is a file: owners, review dates, drafts, a register, and a list of questions that are still open.

There is no claim here of a license to practice law, of an audit accreditation, or of a guaranteed result. Those limits are part of the practice, not a footnote. Read them on the disclaimer before you send materials.

Floor-to-ceiling wooden shelves densely filled with books.
The work starts by reading what the organization already has, not by replacing it on sight.

Methodology

The bounded brief

Every engagement follows the same five movements. The depth changes with the proposal. The order does not, because skipping a movement is how a file becomes decorative.

  1. Name the question

The first task is to say what the client actually needs answered. A partner questionnaire, a messy policy folder, and a wish for a first program are different jobs. The scoping exchange exists to name the question before anyone drafts.

  2. Bound the file

The proposal states the topics, the documents in scope, the people to speak with, and the decisions the practice will not make. Legal interpretation, license filings, and assurance opinions stay outside the bound unless a qualified adviser is instructed separately.

  3. Read before writing

Current policies, registers, contracts indexes, and the account of how work is really done come first. Where the paper and the practice disagree, both are recorded. The practice does not invent a control that nobody operates.

  4. Draft for the user

Policies are written in plain language. Each one names an owner, a scope, and a review date. Procedures are short enough to follow on a working day. A document that only a specialist can parse has not been finished.

  5. Hand over the open items

The closing pack includes the drafts, the register, and the questions still unanswered. The engagement stops where the proposal stops. Optional coordination can keep the log alive. It is a separate agreement, described on the offer page.

Principles

How choices are made when a draft could go several ways

Proportion

The length of a program follows the team that must run it. Extra chapters are not a sign of rigor. They are a cost the client will pay twice: once in the fee, and again in the pages nobody maintains.

Plain speech

If a sentence cannot be read aloud to the person who must follow it, it is rewritten. Defined terms are used when they prevent confusion, not when they decorate a page.

Visible limits

Every proposal says what is out of scope. A gap review is not an audit. A policy draft is not a legal opinion. Saying this early is part of the service, not a refusal to help.

The client owns the facts

The organization confirms how it hires, pays, stores information, and uses suppliers. The practice structures and writes. It does not substitute its guess for the client knowledge.

Values

What the practice protects while the file is open

Care with client and personal information comes first. Materials sent for an enquiry or an engagement are used for that purpose. They are not sold, not turned into advertising, and not shown to other clients. The privacy policy covers the website form. Engagement confidentiality is written into the proposal.

Direct answers come next. If the practice is the wrong help, the reply will say so. If a topic needs a lawyer, the proposal will point at that gap instead of absorbing it into a document.

Finish the agreed work. A file that stops halfway, with no owner and no review date, creates the appearance of a program and none of the use. The handover includes the open list so the client can see what remains.

The services that come out of this method are listed on the services page. The sequence of a live engagement is on the details page.
